Charlestown

So, I think we've established that I love movie trailers. But this one is extra special. It's a magical combination of one of my favorite places (Charlestown), John Hamm, and a Boston crime drama. Amazing.

This really makes me miss living in Charlestown, which is a beautiful place and mostly free of scary criminals.

Banana Bites

Once I saw this amazing photo, I knew I had to make these immediately. Frozen banana bites are the most delicious thing I have made in a very long time. And I don't even love banana.

Eat Pray Love Trailer

I'm sorry if you're rolling your eyes, but I'm excited to see this. I also just really like trailers, almost better than movies.

PS - I'm most definitely going to get myself to Bali sometime soon.

Love Letter to Blurb

A few weeks ago, I made my first Blurb photo book. I had made other photo books in the past through Shutterfly/Kodak, but found Blurb to be far superior. Most of all, I love the square sizes they offer. The littlest one is 7x7 and a perfect not-too-small size. The software was pretty easy to use and I really liked using my own font library for the cover, spine and all text. And finally -  it's really inexpensive (only $12 for the softcover small square size with 40 pages). Here's a preview of my little book:

Orange Beautiful

I wish I were in Chicago so I could go visit this beautiful new shop. One of my favorite bloggers has opened up a shop in Ravenswood. The next time I'm in town, this will be one of my first stops.

#2

So....did you see it? I haven't yet, but probably will this week. It's hard to believe that #1 came out almost exactly two years ago. My girlfriends and I went to see it the night before my friend Kate's wedding (which was lovely and not dramatic, unlike the movie - happy anniversary!)

I didn't love #1, but it's hard to resist seeing #2. The series was just so good, it's impossible to not care about what these fictional characters are doing now.

I think I'm going to watch a few episodes this week before seeing the movie. What are your favorites? Mine are this and this one.

J Crew/Net-a-Porter

Did you know that Net-a-Porter now carries J. Crew? I love to see how they style the clothes with other brand's items, like these Citizen Jeans and Elizabeth and James blazer.

Old is New

I just found my 14 yr old Romeo + Juliet soundtrack. Omg, it's still sooo good. If you haven't listened to it in a while, or have never heard it, go to itunes. It's worth it.
